About News Posts
News posts are for presenting new information. they are great for news updates and other time based content. Posts are sorted chronologically
For more permanent content or things that will always be kept up to date use a page instead.
Sometimes you will want to use both a post and a page:
ie; It is an election year and there is a change to the Board of Aldermen. First you would edit the board of aldermen page with the new board membership. Then you would make a news post announcing the election results and subsequent change in membership.
